En Ruinas by Agonia. A Mexican answer to all that moody melodic hardcore / neo-crust shit. I'll leave it to you to make the inevitable band comparisons. A pretty good if uninspired album but we've all heard this before so I'll cut the bullshit.Active: ???-??? Hometown: San Luis Potosi, Mexico Released: 2005

Mandados A Matar by Conflicto Social. Rockin four piece hardcore / street / anarcho punk. Tons of aggression with raw vocals, political lyrics (to quote the myspace "the lyrics of our songs are directed to the society, the police, the religion or any kind of government institution who fuckeded our country"), and some decent / clear production. Hard to choose a favorite track on here considering all the songs are pretty consistently awesome. This was their first release but from what I've read they have / are working on more.Active: 2005-current Hometown: Guadalajara, Mexico Released: 2008

Boikot S/T. Here's some raw punk rock with gutter production and a shitty rip from a cassette that's prolly been to hell and back. This and the awesome ragged vocals (which reach near Raw Power Screams From The Gutter Awesomeness) make this album seethe with pure punk rock bile. The only other thing I could dig up about this band was their split with fellow Mexican band Coprofilia. Any more info would appreciated (but unexpected).Active: ???-??? Antimaster S/T. Black and white crusty album cover. As soon as you see my face you already know what it is. 25th and Broadway. D-beat. It's the alligator bug-out. Touches of melody. Yummy. Even after listening to Wolfbrigade, Pisschrist, Disclose, etc, etc, etc dis stuff still manages to sound great. This is their latest album, they also have a split with Give Up All Hope and another Lp. Members play / played with Despues Del Odio, Insolentes and Absolucion.Active: 2004-current Hometown: Mexico City, Mexico Released: 2009

Los Monjo Demo. I don't usually post demos but after failing to find either of their Eps waaaay to many times I gave up, so this is what you get. Real nice to hear something outta Mexico that ain't street / anarcho or a form of crust. Los Monjo take influences from classic Spanish bands such as Eskorbuto (a band that's been played a fuck load around here lately), and old school American bands like Dead Boys. If you listen to just one album from this post make it this one. Links to rips of either of their 7"s would be welcome.Active: 2003-current Hometown: Guadalajara, Mexico Released: 2006
